Letter From the Director

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous support in 2025. Your commitment to our mission is more than a gift—it’s a direct investment in the lives of those we serve and a better future for our community.

Thanks to YOU, we were able to meet an unprecedented surge in demand this past year. With your support, we provided 18,662 free clinic-based services (a 21% increase!) and distributed healthy food to 26,192 families, reaching over 110,000 of our neighbors (15% more than in 2024). We also helped 350 high school students bridge the gap toward careers in healthcare. These milestones demonstrate the real, lasting change we are achieving together.

However, the need isn’t slowing down. As we enter 2026, health insurance is becoming even less affordable, and food prices remain historically high. Many of the families we serve are being forced to make the impossible choice between putting food on the table or paying rent—leaving them just one unplanned medical bill away from homelessness.

With supporters like you by our side, we are committed to keeping these essential services available for our neighbors across Ventura County throughout the coming year. We are honored to have your trust and look forward to sharing the impact of your continued partnership through our quarterly updates.

Please see the enclosed annual report summary and your 2025 giving history to WFC for your records.

With gratitude,

Lisa Safaeinili
CEO/Executive Director

P.S. Help us amplify our impact! Please spread the word about our mission with your friends and family!

Letter From the Director

Dear Donors, Volunteers & Community Partners,

Charlyn and I just returned from the National Free & Charitable Clinic Symposium in Orlando, Florida where we were asked to speak about our successful patient outcomes this year. It has been a great year of growth and innovation in addressing emerging needs, improving patients’ wellbeing, and assisting WFC high school interns, of all economic levels, reach their dream of college admission.
Below are some of the highlights. Please visit our website at www.westminsterclinic.org to see
photos, videos and details of all we have been doing thanks to your ongoing support and belief in what we do at Westminster Free Clinic & Community Care Center. You can also follow us on Facebook or Instagram to get weekly updates.

1) Over 8000 people received free healthcare services. We also provided over 100 families with free fruits and veggies on a weekly basis. Donated clothes, 500 back packs with school supplies, and other non-medical services were also provided to support the economic and socio-emotional health of our patient families.

2) Our SALUD interns have started a Healthy Hearts Kids Club! It is a big success and includes evaluation to ensure that children 2-10 have fun and learn heart healthy messages. Now, both the parents and their children are learning through the Corazones Sanos (Healthy Hearts) program. In 2017, we plan to add homework assistance to support the children’s academic needs.

3) Other areas of growth this year include expanding services in vision and dental care, two significant unmet needs in our community. Our ophthalmology services now include cataract screening and surgery, as well as glaucoma screening and medication, to help our older patients. These new services complement our existing free glasses, eye exams and diabetic retinopathy screenings
provided by community partners. Dental services this year expanded to offer 187 of
our patients access to fillings, cleanings, root canals for abscesses, and dentures,
thanks to a partnership with CDA Cares. Seven local dentists provided free dental
assessments. Our dental services continue to expand and we are currently seeking
more volunteer dental professionals and funding.

Inside this issue you will see more of what your money, time, and talent make possible.
Come by Westminster Clinic any time to be inspired and see the difference you make! You can also follow us on Twitter (@WestminsterCCC), Instagram (westminsterclinic), Facebook and LinkedIn (Westminster Free Clinic).

Most Appreciatively,
Lisa Safaeinili, MPH
