Fill out a Teen Intern Application online by scanning the QR code below, or visit the clinic to receive a hard copy with the QR code’s application (November 1st – January 15th of each year).

Be invited to interview. (if you don’t hear from us on January 23rd and think you applied, let Alicia know)

Student has a 15-minute interview with a panel of Clinic members (February of each year).

Selected students complete a mandatory all-day initial training before starting at clinic (March of each year).

Teen interns are required to wear plain navy-blue scrubs, and closed toe shoes when interning (starts April of each year until you graduate)

Average number of new interns selected each year varies depending on number of students who are graduating from the program.

Once selected, the initial teen training will last 4-6 months with a preceptor. A medical skills test will be passed before your name is embroidered on your scrubs at which time you can assist patients on your own and can train to become a preceptor your second year.

Interviews will occur in February for those who are eligible, have taken a clinic tour, and applied by the deadline. Email invitations for interviews will be sent out on January 23, 2026.

Contact the Clinic Teen Manager alicia@westminsterclinic.org if you have any questions.

Being an intern at WFC is a big commitment. The internship lasts at least 2-years, 5-6 hours on a clinic night every other week, 12 months of the year. The application and interview process typically takes place in the spring of a student’s sophomore year. A tour of the clinic is REQUIRED to see if this internship is for you.
